For three-and-a-half days, 13 youth and representatives from local NGOs learned skills to help them initiate projects in their own communities. Participants who applied to the workshop aimed to address needs ranging from drought to food hygiene. The workshop combined lectures, group exercises, as well as the opportunity to learn from the experiences of local NGOs. On the fourth day, participants engaged in personal consultation sessions to get advice specific to their projects. We hope that participants will go on to make a difference in their own communities.

WISE would like to thank East-West Center, the US Embassy in Cambodia, and the National Youth Council‘s Singapore-ASEAN Youth Fund for supporting this project, as well as to everyone of you who contributed to our crowdfunding campaign organised in support of our activities in Cambodia.
